The Basics Lab Projects Manual:
This 66 page, color, fully illustrated manual is the first in a series of three lab project manuals. The manual has illustrated step by step procedures to build the PLC demo, setup an RSLinx driver, configure I/O, navigate RSLogix500, display and modify all of the data table files, save your project files, download program files, upload program files, going Online, creat and edit Ladder Logic programs, programming with all of the basic instructions - XIC - XIO - OTE - OTL - OTU - TON - TOF - RTO - CTU - CTD and RES. It also includes fully illustrated step by step procedures for opening a project from the hard drive, going online with an offline project, searching and using the cross reference. The more advanced instructions are covered in the "Advanced I" and "Advanced II" lab pjroject manuals available on this website.
The Advanced I Lab Projects Manual:
This 60 page fully illustrated manual is the second in a series of three lab project manuals. The manual has illustrated step by step procedures to build the PLC demo, setup an RSLinx driver, advanced timer applications, FIFO instructions FFL and FFU, LIFO instructions LFL and LFU and the fill file instruction FLL; All of the comparison instructions, LES - GRT - LEQ - GEQ - EQU - NEQ - MEQ - LIM; All of the Math Instructions, ADD - SUB - MUL - DIV - SQR - NEG - TOD - FRD, All of the Move and Logical Instructions; MOV - MVM - OR - AND - XOR - NOT - CLR, File and Misc. Instructions; COP - FLL - 32Bit Math - SCL - INT - STI - STE - STD.
The Advanced II Lab Projects Manual:
This 90 page fully illustrated manual, printed in color, is the third in a series of three lab project manuals. The manual has illustrated step by step procedures to build the PLC demo, setup an RSLinx driver, shift register instructions – BSL – BSR – using the unload bit, sequencer logic with OTL/OUT and seal in logic, sequencer instructions – SQC – SQO and SQL, program control instructions JMP – LBL – JSR – MCR – TND and SUS, advanced math instructions – ENC and DCD, using the high speed counter instructions in the modes – UP – UP/RES/HOLD – PULSE/DIRECTION – PULSE/DIRECTION/RES/HOLD – UP/DOWN – UP/DOWN/RES/HOLD – ENCODER/RES/HOLD – the HSL instruction and the RAC instruction, immediate I/O update instructions – IIM and IOM and last but not least the message instructions – MSG. The three manuals in the series have lab projects for the entire instruction set of the Micrologix1000 processor, 71 instructions in all between the three manuals.
